The thick fleshy “petals” of succulents come in a variety of colours; the succulents can survive happily out of water for a few weeks (allowing you to make the bouquet in advance), and the succulents can be replanted after the wedding – perfect for “green-conscious” brides. In fact different kinds of greenery and “fillers” (e.g. dried baby’s breath and lavender) in general are becoming more popular. Even yellow crespedia and hypericum berries will work to add volume, texture and a little bit of interest to bouquets.
