Greetings Border Batch Nation . Well the 3rd annual Bago Bash is in the beer case . What a great event . Missy and I worked hard to get the Bird ’ s Nest ready along with help from Dave and Lori Langford . People started arriving on Thursday this year and the party began . Friday night was amazing with lots great beer , food , music and karaoke . Saturday the dealers started setting up at the crack of dawn and it was game on . We had around 35 dealers on hand with lots of great breweriana changing hands . We had people from 10 states and one couple from Canada . What a turn out ! We sold a ton of this years Birds Nest shirts . Linda ’ s from Amboy had the food truck on Saturday and the food was excellent . The auction raised some good money for the chapter and there were some really cool items on the auction . The Hamm ’ s Camaro that showed up at the end of the day was a cool surprise too . Next year we ’ ll be back in the month of September . Our Mankato show will be here before you know it . Mark your calendars for Saturday , November 19th at Mankato Brewing Co . in Mankato . This is another great show our club puts on . It ’ s indoors , with the brewery taproom open for business and plenty of walk-in traffic . The Springding Show at Schell ’ s is set for Sunday , April 23rd in the basement taproom of the Schell ’ s Brewery in New Ulm . We are working on a date and location for this years Christmas party . That should be determined soon . So keep on Hamming it up and have a cold one while you read this .
