Springding @
Springding at Schells this year was much like it has been for most of the past decade . Cold , cloudy and threatinging rain . We had people coming from as far away as Milwaukee and Missouri , but the forecast changed their minds and they stayed home . This year we had a food truck for the first time , Scotty Biggs BBQ . It was delicious ! I personally liked the Texas Twinkies . We took a sampler plate home to enjoy the rest of the week . The people that attended reported good sales even though the crowd was small due to the weather . Ted Marti stopped out to check on us as he does every year . He commented on the weather messing up our show again . He said next year we could use the taproom in the basement if the weather was bad . So the show was a
modest success , but looks to be much better next year and in the years to come .
