I said Well , I had an 1948 Fitgers Solunar calendar on my table . That got his attention . “ You still got it ?” he said . I said “ I sure do ”. It ’ s out in the car , would you like to see it ? He was all over that , so out to the car we go .. Bert come out and handed him the keys to the van because he figured he was going to going to buy it . Pete looked it up and down . He asked me what I could do on it , and I dropped my price by about 400 bucks to sell it to Pete . He ’ s a good friend and a longtime Duluth collector and I knew it would go to a good home and be back where it belonged up in Duluth , Minnesota . And I have visitation rights as well . So , I was happy to sell it to him and he was happy to get it . We wrapped up that deal and headed south . We arrived in Hooterville around 3 o ’ clock . She got the crock pot going , we got a cold beer and kicked back and relaxed . They started trickling in from the cities and the party started . We did a little karaoke and a little bit of music and dancing and some beers . Some really good food and Mike Casey had brought some hot dogs along .
