A Much Needed Makeover for the Chapter Website
After many years of neglect out chapter website is getting a total makeover . This includes moving to Wix for hosting . Wix allows us to have up to five people collaborating on the site . This way the resposibility does not fall on one person alone . A team effort should allow for a more complete robust site that is freshened up on a regular basis . Also the Wix host platform allows for so much more like a private members only section , ecommerce to sell memberships and chapter merchandise . The site will also be optimized for phone and tablet use . This iis critical as 60 % of users visit sites on their phones . The cost of the new website is $ 13 a month plus tax which is very reasonable for all the services they provide . I ’ m having a little trouble getting into the old website to disconnect it and connect our new site to the website address . I ’ ll get it figured out soon .
