Everyone was having fun . We did have Linda ’ s from Amboy there they had breakfast , and they also did lunch and then the pork chop King came back and sold pork chops as well . Everybody ate well at lunchtime . After that . We got into raffle time about one o ’ clock . We had some really nice raffle items . I mean we didn ’ t overstuff the raffle but just had some good quality things on there and sold a lot of tickets . Steve Miner and Hayley pulled the tickets . Miner read the ticket numbers and Judy stood there and held up the prizes . When the raffle ended , we moved on to the auction . We had about 15 items on the auction this year . And they were all exceptional . The auction itself did over $ 5,300 . I think the big surprise was a small black Grain Belt reverse on glass that sold for $ 1,275 . The Grain Belt Northern Light sign brought $ 725 The Grain Belt bottle neon brought $ 375 and everything else did well too . There were some really good items on there . Once the auction was over some of the vendors started knocking down their tables and getting ready to go home . Some of the people that were camping , they stuck around and we had a pretty relaxed Saturday night . We got the food back out and everybody had a little supper and it was more low key . People were drinking beer but taken it pretty easy . So Tom Owen and I started karaoke and for an hour or so I think it was us two doing a karaoke show . Finally , some others had enough karaoke fluid poured down their gullets that they decided it was their turn to sing so we got a little break . About 10 o ’ clock or so I was about spent . Judy had already gone earlier . I said my farewells to everyone for the night and went back in the house and crawled in bed .
Sunday morning rolled around and it was up and at em . Dave And Laurie Langford made some egg bakes . Katie was busy making coffee and espresso . We joined everyone in the bird ’ s nest for coffee and everybody kind of crawled out of their campers and we sat around enjoying breakfast , visiting and reminiscing . We already tore down everything Saturday night so everything was done , except a little clean up , followed by the long goodbyes . I think we started getting ready to leave at about 9:30 . I think we finally got out of there at about 11 .
