Bago Bash 2023

IV

Judy and I had two vehicles full of merchandise , framing projects and lasered items to bring to Bago Beer Bash this year so we drove separately . The girls came with and helped out . One rode with me the other with Judy . We took off Thursday afternoon for Bullock ’ s house and arrived at 5:30 . There were already people who had been there since Wednesday . They were setting up their campers and getting ready to have some fun .
We had supper , hung out , drank some beers and did some socializing and settled into our room . Friday morning , we got up and 10 of us headed to the Huntley Cafe . The size of our group shocked the little , small town cafe . The lady that has run the place since time began , stood there holding a phone book and pointing saying “ you could have called !” I blamed it on Bullock ’ s since it ’ s their neighborhood and their breakfast place . We got all situated at the table , the farmers were clearing out anyway , so it worked out . The Huntley Cafe is just like a slice out of Hooterville . The post office is in there and the little café with people sitting around drinking coffee , it ’ s like stepping back in time . The food is excellent for breakfast . The prices you can ’ t beat .
