So here we sit in the middle of another warm sticky summer. Luckily I have a homebrewed Blueberry Wheat on tap to beat the heat, sure wish it’ d beat mosquitoes as well. I think my motto for the summer is,“ Thank God for drinking beer as a hobby‘ cause I sure ain’ t getting any collecting done this summer.” If not for a co-worker, the collecting for me would have dropped below a snail’ s pace. A guy at work says to me,“ Do you collect any Hamm’ s?” I say,“ No, not so much so. See I was going to be original and do a single brand breweriana collection maybe with Hamm’ s as the brand of choice, but it turns out that’ s already been done.” So he says,“ Well I have this Hamm’ s tray I found on a garage sale cheap & it’ s nothing rare, but I thought you might like it.” So there ya go I gained a Hamm’ s tray from the Olympia Year’ s for the roadhouse. Getting on to business chapter finances are of course still sound. A few more renewals are still trickling in for income during the summer lull. Tom & I decided to go ahead and get some Outlaw t-shirts printed up as we know there are some of you out there waiting patiently for them. As discussed at the spring meeting we may switch shops in the future but as we hadn’ t heard from those who were checking out alternative sources we pulled the trigger on one last batch from our old source. I missed out on the last meeting due an incurable case of work so I’ m not feeling up to speed on Stubiefest preparation but I’ m sure all is in good hands. If you are providing an approved resource for the Fest as always save your receipts & I’ ll get you reimbursed. Enjoy the rest of your summer with a cold one.
