The International Filmfestival Assen | Women & Film
The international film festival is a two-day festival with arthouse movies and documentaries from all over the world where it ’ s all about female directors and stories from and about women . Authentic stories , documentaries with a social relevance , but also light-footed and surprising movies will be shown . The IFA will contain lots of other activities . Expect quality movies and documentaries , music , workshops , the finest food and interesting guest speakers . It is promised to be a fantastic film weekend !

Annually , The Movies That Matter Festival presents about 70 movies and documentaries that revolve around human rights and a justifiable , sustainable world . The festival also provides daily talk shows , debates , music performances and expositions .

Don ’ t Let Daddy Know is a worldwide EDM party that has come to the Netherlands . It all started in Ibiza in 2012 and has been growing from there . Hong Kong , Manchester and lots of other places in the world unite ravers at this event . The event has a reputation for hosting big names such as Ummet Ozcan , Laidback Luke , Tiësto and Blasterjaxx .

The premiere of Hair the Musical was in 1967 , but this new execution of the legendary musical gives an energetic and renewing vibe . Hair is the story about George Berger , his activist girlfriend Sheila and their inseparable friend group . They are anti-war , hate the ruling moral and fight for peace and limitless freedom . They want a world without rules and taboos , but a dirty war is ruining their plans ...
Since their Broadway premiered almost 50 years ago , Hair never disappeared from the stage anymore .
