When he arrived in Cambridge , the company secured a one-week stay in a hotel until he found himself a room to stay in - which he managed in two weeks . Since the internship was paid , he covered this expense himself . But generally speaking , housing prices are high in Cambridge .
He had some trouble arranging all his documents , but after that was done , he could focus on the job itself . The work he performs allows him certain freedom to work on a task in his own way , after he gets a green light from the senior artist . He also works in close co-operation with the community from which he implements ideas .
English people tend to stick to their pre-made social circles , so it was a bit lonely for Anton , but he decided to keep his mind on the job . Still , he gets to hang out with his colleagues from time to time , go to the pub , or play board games with them .
Anton ’ s advice to all interns is : focus on creating a nice portfolio that showcases yourtalent . It can be quite challenging to find what you ’ re looking for , but in the end - if you work hard - your effort will be rewarded accordingly .
