On Thursday the 1st of December , a special kind of screening happened in the Pathé cinema . The fourth year students from the PR7 course worked extra hard to create eleven beautiful productions which premiered in the Pathé . Almost 300 people showed up in their most ( im ) emmy worthy clothing and it really brought the event to life .
The eleven productions were graded by a jury consisting of NHTV teachers , such as Arleen Cuevas , Eric Wells , Charlie Hicks and Bruce Hancock . They assessed the productions on categories like audio , originality and more . The overall best production turned out to be Fada : The Art of Expression , a documentary about a group of refugees who started a theater together and find therapy through art .
The festival is a nice example of the way in which people from different walks of life can come together and create something , as the festival was organized by second year students from the Events department .
By working together with the fourth year students , they did everything to ensure it was what the near-alumni wanted , since it was really their last time to shine within the NHTV . For them it ’ s the last showcase of everything they ’ ve learned in the past years and how they have been able to nurture their talent . For all the other years it ’ s a look into our future , reminding us of the amazing things we have yet to learn and discover .
