be afraid to bike home late at night.
That’s something I really don’t have at
home. In Breda, the park is my favorite
spot. I simply like to go there when the
weather is nice and lay on the grass to
read a book or listen to some music,
and maybe even have an ice-cream.
For me, it’s the perfect place to chill.
My experience with BUAS is being
interesting and enriching as well.
In my home university, since it is a
regular university and not a University
of Applied Sciences, we have many
theoretical discussions. We read many
books and have a lot of discussions,
but we don’t actually put it in practice.
Here at BUAS, especially in Production
House, we have the opportunity to do
things by ourselves and we have a
lot of independence to do so. That’s
the main difference between both
universities and I think that’s what I am
enjoying the most.
In Breda, I came to learn how to bike
and in the beginning it was hard, but
I ended up really enjoying it. What I’m
going to miss the most when I leave, is
the possibility of using my bike to go
everywhere. It’s not possible in Rio –
you will get killed.
