PAUW
On December 11th a few IMEM students, including me,
were invited to the set of the Dutch talk show: PAUW.
On this day we got a tour through the studio and had the
opportunity to sit in the audience of the real television show.
But how did we get this chance to go there? One of the
production house teams are working for the PAUW Academy.
So before we got to sit in the audience of the real PAUW
show, WE WERE THE AUDIENCE for the PAUW Academy.
This was a show produced by 6 students from IMEM and it
was very interesting to watch. They did very well and it was
fully recorded within one take. The topic of the show was the
lack of housing for students. It is definitely worth watching!
After that we got the tour through the Westergasfabriek
studio’s. This is where PAUW is filmed, but also the Dutch
show “De wereld draait door”. The first thing you notice
is that the studios look very big on television, but being
there was A COMPLETE MIND FUCK. It was so small and it
was really weird to actually be there. When I sat front row
at the PAUW studio, with stretching my arm, I would be
able to touch a guest at the table. Luckily the studio was
empty and no guests were uncomfortably touched by me.
