5. What projects did you already work
on?
In Block A we worked on a world-
building project, which involved 9
other artists. We built a world in 3D
which you can use for games now.
First, we established a theme, which
was the early twenties after a lot of
brainstorming and research. Then we
had to think of a scenario, which is
closely related to the things that hap-
-pened back then. Afterwards we
created the world in Unreal Engine 4, do
the modelling and polish it afterwards.
6.What was your role in the project?
My role in this project was environment
art, which as I already said I really love
to do. I found it a lot of fun to do all these
buildings, textures and materials. I just
get inspired by nature and transferred
all these things into this 3D theme. I
was modelling a lot of buildings and
other objects, which can be found in
New York back in the 1920s, based on
my research.
7. How long did you work on this proj-
ect?
It took us the entire block A, which is 8
weeks. We had to come up with an idea,
then research for it, make concepts,
create everything, put it together in
one game-engine and present it to the
public as a rendered video.
8. What would you like to do in the fu-
ture?
Something that I would really like to
focus on in the future is procedural
modelling and texturing, which is
something very technical at this point.
It is quite future proof and I really like it
so far.
