the iceberg. In Europe maybe,
people would appreciate a person
like me and they want to support
the talent that is locked in the souls
of the younger generations and do
everything possible to let it out.
When I decided to find out if this was
true, I told my
parents: “I want
to study abroad!”
There was no
limit of my
mom’s joy.
Finally, I got
a letter from
the curriculum
agency. Different
advanced
countries
with the best
universities
appeared before my eyes. Italy,
Norway, Spain, and France offered
foreign students an opportunity
to study in English. However, I did
not find anything special in these
countries and in those programs,
but at the end of the letter I noticed
a small country with extraordinary
features: green energy, developed
agricultural industry, advanced
technology market, and the most
developed bicycle infrastructure in
the world. I could not even
imagine that I could study in this small
miracle on the edge of the European
continent called “The Netherlands”.
After arrival in the Netherlands, I saw
green meadows under the blue sky,
brightly illuminated by the western
sun. How happy people on city bikes
cycling in all
directions
that
you could only
wish for. When
I arrived at my
university, I finally
saw what I heard
so long ago. A
wise saying says:
“It’s better to see
once than hear a
hundred times”.
Audiences with
different colors
captivate
the
minds of young students and force
learning and creating. Teachers who
know everything about subjects direct
every student in the right way. And of
course, students from all over the world
sharing their skills and experience with
others to achieve their goals. Now
I know that my first university was
indeed the tip of the iceberg and that
here the people appreciate a person
like me.
