Snezhina Piskova, 3rd year IMEM students Can you shortly summarize who you are? Hey everyone, my name is Snezhina Piskova, a 21-year-old Bulgarian in the middle of my third year internship. Where did you do your inter- nship? For my placement I have deci- ded to go back to my home country of Bulgaria and work in one of the biggest film produc- tion studios in Europe - Nu Boyana Film Studios. It’s ama- zing, since a lot of big budget Hollywood movies have been shot here in the studio. How did the employees welco- me you? Me and the other interns (we were around 25 in the begin- ning), were welcomed very warmly, with our supervisors always eager and ready to res- pond to any questions or solve any difficulties we might be having. How was the transition from school to business? Since the company atmosphere isn’t that strict (there are people riding bikes around the studios since it’s so huge, playing volley- ball in the breaks or bringing their pets to work on a regular basis), it wasn’t very stressful for me to adapt to the workplace. In a way it’s a lot like school - you have a lot of freedom on how to handle your tasks but you have strict set deadlines and as long
