Local Employment Success Story :
All this building and construction has not only delivered substantial capital works for the community it has also delivered jobs . Brewarrina Shire Council is leading the way on employment and it is pleasing to see the results in terms of local employment .
The Goodooga Road project was and still is , a big project . Building and sealing 96 kilometres of road is more road construction than the Council had ever undertaken in several decades , however the plan was and still is , a great example of how best to utilise funding to stimulate local employment .
Obtaining the funding was a major success , delivering on the employment and economic returns for this community has been an even bigger success story . ———>
