T he Exceptional Nature Space (ENS) is designed to meet the
unique needs of children with varying exceptionalities and
their families. During playtime, explore the ENS with an
open or themed session. Participants must register with
special needs coordinator Lindsay Mathisen at [email protected].
Zoo Teen Volunteer Program
Zoo Teens (ages 13 to 16) work
alongside staff to create a
memorable experience for Zoo
guests, increase environmental
awareness and explore career
opportunities. They may assist
with animal husbandry and
handling, face painting,
special events and public education programs.
Applications for the 2019 program are due by Sunday,
October 14 at 5 p.m.
