Brenham’s Marriage
Maintenance Weekend

Last month, we held Brenham’s Marriage Maintenance Weekend
with Jeff & Debby McElroy. Over 220 people attended the weekend and
were encouraged, inspired, and strengthened in their marriages. Of course,
to pull off a conference of this magnitude took over 70 volunteers.

I want to say thank you to those volunteers who served the people
of our community during Marriage Maintenance Weekend. There is not
enough space to write each name in this article, but if you helped with the
Prayer/Counseling Team, Registration Team, Hospitality Team, Childcare
Team, Food Team, Door Prize Team, Audio Visual Team or Promotion Team,
your contributions were greatly appreciated. A special thanks to the leaders
of these teams: Margaret & Craig Agnew, Bob & Mary Kay Billington, Jeff &
Kara Freeman, Heather & Ron Kirby, David & Kacy Kuespert, Troy & Kelley
Sikes, Corey & Kristi Stegent, Stacey & Nathan Strickland, and Gregg & Elisa
Workman. Also, I want to thank Lee Gonzales who served as our counselor,
Burt Bearden who served as our Master of Ceremonies, and Lindee Knowles
who prepared our graphics for the weekend.

The feedback we have received from the weekend has been
overwhelmingly positive and the credit goes to God and His servants!
