There
are numerous types of breastfeeding classes and various class structures . This curriculum provides options that can be customized to suit your needs . To create your own plan or customize your curriculum , begin by considering :
• Your needs and interests as an educator .
• Reasons parents are taking your class .

PURPOSE

• Aim , goals and objectives : what do parents want / need to know and how do they want to feel at the end of the course ?
• Your class format and time frame ( number and length of classes ).
Breastfeeding education can make a lasting difference in many regards .
