Fogarty CHALLENGES When I arrived in August 2008, we had graduated only four classes with a total of 169 alumni. The Fort Pierce and Daytona Beach regional campuses were very new. We had only half of a development officer to help support the College of Medicine. The faculty and leadership had done an outstanding job to get the program established, but many were asking: “What next?” I wanted it to be the faculty’s “What next?,” not just mine.
