CHALLENGES
When I arrived in August 2008, we had graduated only four classes with a
total of 169 alumni. The Fort Pierce and Daytona Beach regional campuses
were very new. We had only half of a development officer to help
support the College of Medicine. The faculty and leadership had done an outstanding
job to get the program established, but many were asking: “What next?” I wanted
it to be the faculty’s “What next?,” not just mine.
