Erika Kimberly is an alumna of the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and is an alumna of Manhattanville College where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing. Erika Kimberly is the former Poetry Editor of INKWELL Journal and the former Editor of the Manhattanville Review. She is the author and photographer of For The People To Drink, a collection of poetry and photographs about the almost forgotten industrial city of Bridgeport, CT, her hometown. She is currently working full-time to teach parents in Bridgeport about the educational system and ways they can become advocates for their students' academic future.
