Design Digital tools for local language learning.
Background:
In the big cities like Bangalore where a lot of population
is coming from other parts of country it has become
important for them to learn to speak local language as
they are new to city and are struggling for the basic
everyday communication. This project aims at creating
the learning tools for Kannada language and the principles & methods of which can be replicated to learn any
other local/regional language as well.
Project Scope & Delivery:
An innovative, simple and easy way to learn the local
language (spoken) in various digital formats like Android
smart phone/tablet/video based/web based/audio based.
The tool should cover the following:
i) To be able to speak confidently in Kannada
ii) To be able to converse with the locals for the basic
needs as, Auto rickshawalas, Helpers at home, etc.
iii) To be able to count numbers in kannada
iv) To be able to learn the slangs of the local language to
enjoy conversation with the local friends
