VA Rap Artist, PHZ-Sicks, Releases New Single
“VA2TX” and T-Shirt Line
Virginia rap artist PHZ-Sicks (pronounced ‘physics’) presents "VA2TX", which is a single inspired by
being born in Texas, his Southern roots and being raised in Northern VA. Produced by Makaih Beats
and Hollywood, "VA2TX"‘s production is a Juicy J/Memphis sound inspired with East coast lyricism
with a Southern twang on top of it.
Speaking about the high energy banger, PHZ-Sicks states that “I wanted to meld the Hip Hop that I
grew up listening to while also painting a picture of my environment. The mix of Rawkus Records and
No Limit. The mix of Bad Boy and Hypnotize Minds being the background music while we travel from
the DMV to Mississippi where most of my family lives to my birthplace in Texas. I wanted to sonically
and lyrically bring you on this journey of the South and The Great Migration, and this is what VA2TX is.”
VA2TX also includes new T-shirts created by PHZ-Sicks and Mikey “Boss Dog” McKennedy. The logo
incorporates the Virginia flag and the University of Texas at Austin’s Hook Em Horns sign. Boss Dog is
an artist-owned and operated apparel brand that brings a world of fantasies, fears, and desires to the
clothing industry. Boss Dog has also done collaborations with Zumiez, Vans, and The Planet of Doom.
