MUSIC FEATURE:
“Call Me When It’s Over” by Nelss
Nelss is a self-taught singer, songwriter, and
producer born on the first of October, 1991, in
Lisbon, Portugal. Despite music always being
present in his early life, after graduating college,
Nelss moved to Paris, France, for a job, away from
family and friends, leaving his musical endeavors
in standby.
“Call Me When It’s Over” was self-produced on his
home-studio in Paris. The track revolves around a
spellbinding guitar progression brought forward
by the uptempo drums. Both the passionate vocal
performance and the half-punchy bass lines stack
up to create a memorable song. “Call Me When
It’s Over” was mastered by Norman from Calyx
Mastering in Berlin and it will be available as a
“Name Your Price” download on Bandcamp, and
stream on Spotify, Deezer and Youtube Music.
Currently, Nelss is actively building his music
career with his debut single. As a songwriter,
Nelss believes that the meaning of the lyrics must
be disassociated from its author’s background.
Admittedly getting inspired in his life events for
his creations, he hopes to entice the listener’s
own imagination.
