Singer, rapper, and songwriter D’MEETRI (born
Dominique Demetrice Farrar) grew up as a foster
kid in St. Paul, Minnesota since the age of 3,
quickly gravitating to music all throughout his
early schooling years. He studied music
production and recording in high school, and
immediately upon graduation, he decided to take
his musical career seriously -- which meant moves
from St. Paul, to Atlanta, Georgia, to finally Los
Angeles, CA, where he now resides. A multi-
faceted talent, he has pumped out over 100
songs (both songs he has written, arranged and
produced vocals on, and recorded), and landed
major features on hit shows such as Black Ink,
Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta. D’Meetri’s entertainment
career does not stop at music -- in 2018, he
nabbed a key role in Season 5 of ABC's #1
comedy, black-ish, as Junior’s roommate
(WATCH). He has also starred as the lead in a
Nayip Ramos short, Allen, alongside Madison
Iseman. He also served as an official
spokesperson for State Farm’s “Buckle Up”
campaign for teens, and most recently, won Best
R&B/Soul Artist at the 2018 Hollywood Music in
Media Awards.
What’s next for D’Meetri? After dropping his first
official album “Forgotten Son” Independently
through his own imprint “One Life Nation” or
“OLN”, this summer & successfully gaining over
50,000 streams. D’Meetri has released yet another
EP titled “FADE” produced by New York Producer
L. Jean, Founder of “Young Kings Recordings” on
Nov. 3rd. Featuring 5 fresh tracks all varying in
genre and style! You can check that out and all
