B! 22
BRASH! What are we to expect from your upcoming project?
AR: The next project that I’m working on is definitely going to be something unique. I’m in a dope ass
creative space and have been rocking different music from Jagged Edge to Green Day so I’m really just
ready to try new things. Also the content that I talk about will definitely change. It won’t always be
about relationship stuff. Sometimes I might want to talk about how me and some friends took a
random ass road trip, or about a bad sex experience. I just want to talk about things I would actually
discuss to bring my fans into my world.
BRASH! In the new single, “Yours”, you give a “warning” to men that their women can leave if
not treated right. What prompted this message?
AR: I’m at a Shell gas station and this Fiiiinnneeeee ass lady (I could tell she was of a mature age lol)
was gettin in the car and the dude she was with was like “nah this the wrong kind go get the right
ones”. In my mind I’m thinking is he crazy! She shouldn’t have had to get out of the car in the first
place. I immediately said to myself she need to go ahead and let me be hers. Recorded the record
maybe like a day or two later and was like oh yeah this slaps lol.
BRASH! What other areas of the entertainment biz are you looking to or currently working in.
AR: I’m excited because I’ve actually been getting more into acting. Shot my first short film at the top
of this year titled “The Audacity” were I play Jason, which should be releasing soon. I always have a
few other acting gigs I’m preparing to take on. Also learning from the greats like Jay Z and Diddy, I’m
getting ready to start my own jewelry line. Growing up, my daddy always had the dopest jewelry and I
always wanted to wear it. When I finally got old enough to buy my own ,you couldn’t tell me nothing!
Lol. I always liked jewelry but felt like I couldn’t afford the pieces I really wanted, so I created a line
that is affordable but still delivers exclusive feeling craftsmanship.
I JUST WANT TO TALK
ABOUT THINGS I WOULD
ACTUALLY DISCUSS TO
BRING MY FANS INTO MY
WORLD.
