Since our launch in 2009 as the first
academic body focusing on the
complexities of anti-counterfeiting and
product protection, we have built our
Center through close partnerships with
brand owners. We work closely with
industry and other stakeholders to learn
about their most pressing brand
protection issues and to develop
platforms of research, education and
outreach that support our mission and
theirs.
These relationships also facilitate the
growth of our Center so that we can
continue to pursue cutting edge
research projects, share new solutions
to brand protection challenges as
developed through evidence-based
research, and provide thought
leadership and education in brand
protection.
A prime example of the Center’s
resources is the A-CAPP Center Fellows,
a team of brand protection
professionals who serve as subject
matter experts and assist our team in
the development and instruction of our
education program offerings. Together,
we continue to build this program with
them. In addition to our custom
executive education seminars, academic
courses, and graduate certificate, the
Center will launch two new
opportunities over the next year, a
professional brand protection certificate
and advanced applied brand protection
training.
Our fellows also share their experience
and knowledge by contributing to the
Brand Protection Professional (BPP), a
practitioner’s journal that the Center
launched September 2016.
