2014 GOLF GUEST PASSES NOW ON SALE IN GOLF SHOP
You can purchase up to 10 golf guest passes for $30 per pass and bring guests to play any day
of 2014. This is a savings of more than 50% per round. Use these passes for friends, family and
colleagues. This offer will be available January 1st until February 28th, with the passes expiring on
December 31, 2014. As an added attraction, if you buy 10 passes for 2014, any of your remaining
2013 passes will be valid through the end of March. You must be a Golf member to purchase
these passes and we do ask that you play with your guests.
JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY STARTS IN MARCH
Beginning Thursday, March 6th at 3:30 pm we will have a clinic/demonstration for the
Junior Golf Academy. The Junior Academy is for those juniors who want to learn the
great game of golf with players of their own skill level. Following Thursdays in March
classes will be held at 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm and additional classes will be added
depending on demand. Please call Trey in the pro shop at 601-271-2010 to sign up.
2014 Canebrake Cup
Introducing 2014’s new opportunity to showcase
your club! Beginning in March and continuing through
October members are encouraged to bring a guest on
the first Thursday of each month for a 9 or 18-hole
tournament. The proshop will provide a format enjoyable
for both the member member and guest.
Participating members will accrue points each month they
participate and each event will have points and prizes awarded
to the winning member and guest team. At the conclusion of October’s tournament, the member with the most
points will be rewarded a prize of magnanimous proportion. Each month will have a sign-up sheet in the pro
shop that explains the format and the price. This will be a great time for you to bring out friends as well as
potential members to enjoy the course and the competition. The first round of the Canebrake Cup will be held
on Thursday, March 6th with a 2-person scramble. See the pro shop staff for more details.
Until Tuesday, April 1, Bullpen Tee Times
will be every Tuesday, Thursday, and
Saturday at 9:00 am and on Sundays at
10:30 am. Please call the pro shop if you
wish to make a tee time to play in the
group.

GOLF CARTS NOW HAVE GPS
GPS has been installed in the golf carts.
This high tech equipment allows you
to know their yardage without having
to struggle with rangefinders. Simply
look at the screen and you know your
distance to the middle of the pin location
for the day. You are also able to order
food, call for help, request another cart
or report lost or found items.
