The TEE IT FORWARD initiative comes from the PGA of America, the USGA, and the golf professional staff at Canebrake Country Club. This program encourages golfers to play from the set of tees that best fits their game and ability. The objective is for golfers to have a more enjoyable experience on the course, to play faster and to have more fun! Golfers are encouraged to TEE IT FORWARD anytime and anywhere. While we all LOVE to hit our Drivers as far as we can, we also LOVE to write down low numbers on the scorecard. Try playing up a set of tee markers or starting from the 200 yard marker and see which is more enjoyable. By hitting more lofted clubs into the greens you should play faster, have lower scores and these both lead to more fun!
