For this issue we wanted to try something a bit different. We wanted to turn the focus outwards and talk about the people and systems that support us and the problems with stigma in the community.
We also wanted to try and represent different stories and voices. Mental illness and mental health are quite personal things but they do affect everyone and we wanted to reflect that in these pieces.
Everyone is impacted by mental health and we are all in this together.
If someone has helped you a lot or you are particularly grateful to be friends with someone, tell them. Give your family an extra hug, drop your friends a random text and buy yourself some flowers. Spread the love!
