Saudi Arabian SPPC Round 4 Wind Project— advising the Japan Bank for International Cooperation( JBIC) and the commercial lenders on the successful bid, development and financing arrangement for the 700 MW Yanbu Wind IPP
Saudi Arabian SPPC Round 5 Solar PV— advising the consortium led by Masdar and including Korea Electric Power Corporation and GD Power in relation to the successful bid, development, financing and shareholder arrangements in relation to the approximately $ 1.1 billion 2 GW Al Sadawi solar PV project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabian SPPC Round 6 Solar PV— advising the consortium led by Masdar as the preferred bidder on 2 solar IPPs totaling 2 GW in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
British Solar Renewables— on the development, financing and construction of a portfolio of twelve solar and co-located Solar / BESS projects across the UK and Australia, with a combined generation of over 600 MW. The projects will benefit from a varied offtake structure, including through the CfD regime( enabled through route to market PPAs) as well as long tenor corporate power purchase agreements, and potential optimisation agreements for the larger BESS projects.
ACWA Power— advising the Sponsors in relation to the project-financed development of a 300,000 cubic metre SWRO desalination project on the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan
SAF Project— advising the lenders in relation to a $ 1bn construction financing of a sustainable aviation fuel biorefinery in Malaysia with an annual production capacity of up to approximately 4.2 million barrels of biofuels
Euro Sun Mining— advising the borrower on a $ 200 million staged financing facility for the development and future construction of the Rovina Valley copper and gold mine in Romania
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development( EBRD)— advised the on the financing of two solar photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 20 MWp, both located in Feriana, Tunisia. These projects are the first renewable energy independent power producer( IPP) projects developed under the authorization scheme to be project-financed and to reach financial close in Tunisia.
RTE( Réseau de Transport d’ Électricité)— advising RTE( Réseau de Transport d’ Electricité), France’ s Transmission System Operator, on a major construction contract, procurement, and regulatory matters for three offshore substations tied to 1.5GW offshore wind farms in the Mediterranean Sea and in the Atlantic Ocean. These projects represent a strategic cornerstone of France’ s energy transition, supporting the national objective to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and to accelerate the deployment of large-scale offshore( including floating) wind capacity.
CACE, BPIFRANCE, BP GO et BP BFC— advising the finance parties, including Banque Populaire, Bpifrance and Crédit Agricole Centre Est, on the financing in favour of Group SRC of a biomass cogeneration plant, a cogeneration unit, a log wood production unit, four wood drying units and a solar power plant.
WATTS. green— advised WATTS. green – a renewable energy fund investing in greenfield infrastructure projects and asset development platforms – in connection with its investment in Calycé( including the transfer of CalyWattSol interests). Calycé is a pioneer French company specializing in the development, construction and operation of agrivoltaic projects.
Aysha Wind Project— advising AMEA Power on its 300 MW wind project in Ethiopia. This will be the largest wind farm in the Horn of Africa.
Alcazar Energy— advising Alcazar on the development and financing of a 500 MW onshore wind farm in Egypt.
Taweelah C 2.6 GW IPP— advising consortium of sponsors in their bid for, negotiation, signing, financial close and development of the 2.6 GW conventional gasfired IPP in Abu Dhabi.
Al Nouf IPP— advising the potential lenders to Engie’ s bid for the 3.3 GW Al Nouf IPP in Abu Dhabi.
EWEC BESS Project— advising the lenders to Engie’ s bid for the 400 MW / 800 MwH BESS project, in Abu Dhabi.
SPPC G1 BESS Project— advising the lenders to Engie’ s bid for the 2,000 MW / 8000 MWh Group 1 BESS projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
