Our team has extensive experience of advising on large scale multi-sourced project financings in the region, and we have advised on financings involving all the major ECAs that are active in the power, energy and infrastructure sectors( including advising on JBIC’ s first mini-perm project financing for a Middle East renewables project financing).
In addition, our team has significant and widespread experience of advising on Islamic finance deals throughout the Middle East region. We have worked with Islamic banks, Shari’ a committees and financial advisers on some of the most prominent Islamic finance transactions in the region. Our deep-rooted knowledge and understanding of:( i) Islamic finance structures,( ii) Shari’ a committee requirements and( iii) how to ensure that conventional and Islamic finance parties work together in a collaborative way, means that we can immediately add value to the financing process( including in relation to structuring issues).

• Section 2: The Bracewell Team
Our current team organogram and individual team members’ bio can be found in Section 2. This is the Middle East focused projects team, reflecting a wide range of experience levels and sector focus. Our team is located in Dubai and London and works seamlessly across all projects as a single office offering.
The team’ s skill sets cover project development expertise, project financing( including Islamic and ECA financing), construction and corporate. The team has no fewer than seven partners, two in Dubai and five in London. Our partner offering is balanced with a core group of senior counsel, senior associates, associates and paralegals. Additional junior resources are also deployed from related sector teams as the need may arise.
• Section 3: Bracewell Credentials
We present a list of relevant credentials in Section 3. To distinguish ourselves from our competitors, and highlight the depth of our team’ s relevant experience, we limit the list of credential projects to the projects that our core team members have worked on. The specific role of each core team member on each project is shown in the credential tables set out in Section 3 below.
We do not display institutional credentials that our current team members did not work on. For ease of reference, our lenders’/ ECA counsel mandates are highlighted in yellow.
