• Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust— EPC and FM aspects of all the project agreements in relation to their £ 1 billion PFI project re-developing the Queen Alexandria Hospital in Portsmouth *
• Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Greenwich— various variations for theatres for the PFI project( which won an award for Best Degree of Risk Transfer)*
• FCC Environment UK— funders with respect to its restructuring and limited recourse bank and bond financing of a portfolio of energy to waste assets in the United Kingdom, including obtaining the first ever investment grade rating for the notes issued in respect of the asset class *
Digital and Telecommunications Infrastructure
• America Europe Connect— Nomura and Orchard( as lenders) in connection with the financing of the AEConnect cable between Shirley, NY and Killala on the West Coast of Ireland. The hybrid project finance structure involved significant interaction with the EPC contractor( TE Subcom) and customers( Microsoft and Facebook) to ensure that the limited recourse nature of the financing remained intact whilst giving these key stakeholders the comfort they needed to participate.*
• OneWeb— proposed ECA and DFI‐ supported project financing of its low‐earth orbit satellite constellation *
• O3b Networks— $ 1.3 billion Bpifrance and DFIsupported project financing of its medium orbit satellite constellation. This mandate spanned several years: from the award-winning original financing, through to additional financings, a re‐structuring and an eventual refinancing and M & A process. The financing structure contained multiple layers of debt and the participating DFIs were IFC, AFDB, DBSA, DEG, EAIF, FMO and Proparco.*
• O3b NextGen— Boeing in connection with the financing of O3b’ s NextGen constellation of satellites *
