During the event the British Red Cross first aid trainers
will be demonstrating vital techniques in CPR and
anaphylaxis through a 40 minute theory session, held
twice over the two-day show. Both skills are mandatory
for nurses, as part of their annual revalidation training
and certification requirements.
Through group sessions with experienced first aid
trainers, delegates will be able to recognise the
harmful allergen triggers and symptoms and provide
appropriate treatment. They will also learn how to give
CPR in line with the current resuscitation guidelines.
The training is designed for nurses operating in general
practice and in the community.
