Stepping into September...
Stepping into September...
or should I say hopping! My knee replacement is now set for the 2nd September, and having been through it once before, I sort of know what’ s ahead- reassuring in some ways, terrifying in others. Lists have been made, meals prepped, and the freezer is filled with icepacks.
This month is packed with brilliant local events. Herts Open Studios runs from 5th-27th September, inviting you to meet artists, explore their studios, and enjoy unique work across the county- visit hvaf. org. uk for details. Then from 11th- 20th September, Heritage Open Days offer dozens of free opportunities to explore hidden corners of our history. You’ ll find local highlights in the What’ s On guide, and many more at heritageopendays. org. uk.
The much‐anticipated Box Moor Trust Festival returns on 19th and 20th September- a fantastic free weekend for all the family. Towards the end of the month, the 9th Chilterns Heritage & Culture Festival begins, offering walks, talks and exclusive tours across the region.
