Hemel Rotary ’ s Santa Sleigh will be out and about from 23 November to 23 December bringing delight to children of all ages !
Since 2017 , the Hemel Rotary Santa Sleigh has raised well over £ 100,000 , which has been donated to 50 + small local charities and community groups in Hemel , Boxmoor , Kings Langley and Abbots Langley . These fund-raising events are “ manned ” by local volunteers as well as Rotary members . All profit raised from Sleigh events goes to local good causes .
The Rotary Club are including Sleigh visits to 9 static venues , as well as covering 25 street to street routes . They are hoping to do better than ever this year , but could do with a few more helpers .
They would welcome further volunteers at static events to play Santa or Mrs Claus , or to help with collecting . They also need more drivers with towing facilities to help them on some of the 25 street to street routes .
