On Saturday 2nd December , Boho Boxmoor are hosting their annual Light Switch-on Event but this year , it ’ s bigger and better !
Boho Boxmoor have been granted permission to close off a section of St Johns Road from Thorne Close to Wharf Road to make room for a Christmas Market . The market will comprise approximately 25 stalls and will be trading from 3pm until 6pm . The Light Switch-On will run from 4pm until 5pm with our usual line up of school choirs and general festive cheer .
A road diversion will be in place from 1pm until 7pm on Saturday 2nd December .

Boxmoor Santa Dash is a new race being held in Hemel Hempstead in aid of local charities . There are two races . A 2.5Km Elf Dash for children and a 5Km Santa Dash for older kids / adults .
After the dash there ' ll be Festive Fun at the Box Moor Trust Centre where you will find a Santa ' s Grotto ( pre-booked only ), Hot Food Vendors and even a Fully Licensed Bar serving a selection of alcoholic beverages , hot drinks and soft drinks .
All finishers will receive an exclusive Boxmoor Santa Dash medal !
When : Sunday 26th November @ 9am-4pm . ( Registration opens at 8am ) Where : Snooks Moor , Hemel Hempstead , HP1 2RE What to Wear : Don your favourite Christmas gear with a dash of Santa Spirit . Think cozy red and white outfits , santa hats , elf hats and reindeer antlers .

Countdown-to-Christmas Fayre Saturday 18 November 2023 , 10am to 2pm
St John ’ s Church , Boxmoor , are holding their annual Countdown-to-Christmas Fayre in the church on Saturday 18 November from 10.00am to 2.00pm . Refreshments will be available in the Hall . There will be all the usual stalls , including homemade cakes and produce , raffle , tombola , toys , books , knitting and crafts .
The church will be adorned with sparkly gold and silver , providing a festive look to get us all in the spirit of Christmas .
Please do put the date in your diary and remember to come along !
This is always a fun and bustling event , offering a chance to pick up a few early Christmas presents , buy home-made cakes and produce , catch up with friends and have some lunch and a chat in the Hall .
