July Talk
Behind Enemy Lines: An RAF Navigator’ s Story of Survival
The Welsh Society warmly invites members and guests to a fascinating afternoon talk on Wednesday 1st July at 2.30pm at Potten End Village Hall, HP4 2RH.
Guest speaker Stuart Green will share the remarkable wartime story of his father, Alan Green, a Navigator with RAF Bomber Command who became a Prisoner of War in Stalag Luft III.
This promises to be a compelling and moving account of courage, resilience and wartime experience. Tickets are £ 10, including tea or coffee, and a traditional Welsh cake.
This July talk will be our final event before the summer break, and we hope as many members as possible will be able to join us.
We look forward to reconvening on 7th October at 12.30 pm at The Crabtree, HP2 4HG.
