At Heath Lane Nursery in Hemel Hempstead, we believe every child deserves the very best start to their educational journey. From the term after their third birthday, children are welcomed into our warm, inclusive setting where they are encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive.
Our nursery is built on our core values of safety, confidence, and respect. We provide a secure, caring environment where children feel safe to be themselves, build friendships, and develop the confidence to take on new challenges.
With a focus on educational excellence for under 5s, our experienced team delivers a rich, play-based curriculum tailored to the children’ s interests and developmental needs. We offer both 15 and 30 hour places( subject to eligibility), with sessions grouped to support a consistent, engaging experience.
As part of the Roots Federation, Heath Lane Nursery benefits from shared expertise, resources, and a collaborative approach to early years education- ensuring the very best for every child.
What sets us apart is our commitment to outdoor learning. Children enjoy daily access to our amazing outside areas where we encourage them to build resilience, curiosity, and a lifelong love for the world around them. We also place a strong emphasis on promoting a love of books, encouraging early literacy through storytelling, reading corners, and engaging texts. Most importantly, nurturing confidence is at the heart of everything we do. Through gentle encouragement, guided play, and meaningful interactions, we aim for each child to flourish and develop a genuine love of learning.
