St John’ s Summer Fete 2025 Saturday 26 July, 11am to 3pm St John Church grounds( opposite sports centre)
St John’ s Church are once again holding a Summer Fête at the end of July. The team is busy preparing a bumper edition of our usual Summer Fête to make it extra special! There will be lots of stalls including cakes, produce, toys, books, tombola and a raffle. Bring all the family as there will be activities for the children too – something for everyone, young and not so young. And let us not forget the lunchtime Barbecue and the ever-popular Pimms Tent providing cooling liquid refreshment! Tickets for the Grand Draw will also be on sale(£ 2 a ticket or £ 10 for a book of 5 with a chance of winning £ 1,000 when the Draw is made in November)!
Entertainment will be provided by traditional clog dancers and Dacorum Community Choir before the fair is brought to a close when the raffle is drawn at 2.45pm.
Of course, we cannot guarantee the weather, but we seem to have been lucky on all previous occasions and we will cope whatever befalls! A glorious sunny day, would, of course, be the icing on the cake( there will be plenty of cakes on the cake stall and talking of“ icing,” there will be ice creams!)
