Join us at St John ’ s Church for our annual Summer Fair ! There will be a variety of stalls featuring cakes , produce , toys , books , tombola , and a raffle . Will Fr Mike brave the stocks again this year to be pelted with wet sponges ? Activities for children will also be available – there ’ s something for everyone , both young and the young at heart . And let ’ s not forget the lunchtime barbecue and Pimms tent !
While we can ’ t guarantee the glorious weather we ’ ve enjoyed at some of our summer fairs , it would certainly
be the icing on the cake . Speaking of icing , there will be plenty of cakes at the cake stall , and yes , ice creams too ! Last year , despite less favorable weather , we coped quite well , and the fair was a great success !
