Like most rescues we are inundated with cats / kittens needing rehoming ; we get daily calls for cats needing to come into care for all sorts of reasons .
Foster cats do not mix with your own pets so ideally you will have a spare room to foster in , separate from them , if you do have other pets . If you don ' t have a spare room and don ' t have any other pets , you can still apply to become a fosterer .
There will be a requirement to take your foster cats to the vets for a health check , vaccinations , micro-chipping , neutering etc ., so having your own transport to do this is the ideal .
The cost of equipment , cat food , litter etc . associated with taking on a foster cat , will be covered by the branch and full training and on-going support will be available to you .
