I can ’ t imagine what 2024 will bring but my fingers are crossed for a happy and healthy one .

Every year , I write about my New Year ’ s resolutions here , in the hope they might just stick , and for the first time I can say one of my resolutions has stuck . This year I don ’ t have to resolve to lose weight and get fit . Instead , I just need to maintain my new health and fitness levels . In 2023 I managed to lose weight and swam 4 days a week . I have muscles in places that I didn ’ t even know muscles existed . The main thing I did differently was to set myself smaller , achievable challenges and I now realise that this is possibly the solution for a much happier way of life ( the many little rewards when I met a goal helped too !).

So for 2024 , I shall aim low and reward high ... happiness shall be mine ! ( That sounded better in my head ).
