I heard a podcast recently where the host admitted they used to dread January- until they decided to claim it as their month of rest. They stopped chasing the to‐do list, picked up a book, and let themselves slow down, knowing that once February arrived, normal life would come rushing back. It felt like a lovely reminder that easing into the year is allowed. As we move into February, a little colour is returning to the garden, the days are growing lighter, and, fingers crossed, I’ ll finally shake off this cold.
