A big ‘ thank you ’ to One Life Herts
We ’ re always delighted to welcome volunteer groups to the Box Moor Trust , and this month we had the pleasure of hosting One Life Herts , a local SEN charity that regularly visits to help with tasks and enjoy guided tours of the estate . This time , the group rolled up their sleeves ( and got very muddy !) planting some of the last new trees at Hay Wood . Their efforts are part of our vital replanting work following the essential felling of diseased ash trees . It was fantastic to see the group getting stuck into such an important job revitalising the woodland — work they ’ ll be able to revisit and take pride in for years to come . We ’ re so grateful for their enthusiasm and hard work , and we can ’ t wait to see them again soon .
