As I write , it ' s a clear night , the stars are shining and there ' s a heavy frost on the roofs I can see from my study window . One of the carols we ' ll invite you to sing with us at our Christmas concert is ' Good King Wenceslas ' and that was on a very cold night too .
This year ' s concert is at St . Mary ' s in Hemel Old Town , on Friday 13th December , from 7 pm . An auspicious date and we look forward to meeting you there , over a glass of Prosecco and a mince pie , after the singing .
We ' ll also ask our audience to join in ' O come all ye faithful ', ' God rest ye marry , gentlemen ' and ' I ' m dreaming of a White Christmas '
We ' ll be back to rehearsal after the holidays on 7th January . We meet on Tuesdays in term times at the Church of the Resurrection in Grovehill , HP2 6BJ ( aka ' the church behind the chippy ,) from 9.45 till 11.35 am . We welcome new members at any time . Just come along to a rehearsal and see if we ' re for you .
