By the tenth and ultimately final
session, Murray had nothing left and
an innocuous looking left hand was
enough to put him down. Murray rose
from the count, but the writing was
clearly on the wall as Crolla advanced
and went in for the kill. A barrage of
punches forced Murray into a corner
and as blows continued to reign on his
defenceless opponent, referee Terry
O’ Connor stepped in to hand Crolla
his second consecutive stoppage win.
