achievement to win Gold, Hughie. Congratulations on that! Can you tell me why you and Peter decided it was best for you to not stay as an amateur. The Olympic games in Rio are 3 years away now. Were you in with a shout of going to them?
H.F - Thank you. Yes the GB squad wanted me for the podium squad, but I want to learn how to be a top pro and I've a lot to work on. It's 3 years to the games now and if you add another 3 years that's a total of 6 years to be doing what I'm doing now.
I've won one Gold and to me in the amateur game, I'm happy with my achievements. I've no regrets at all and only looking forward now to be honest. I'm now officially a pro and I fight next Friday, so on the road we go to hopefully a good future, please God.
J.McK - Your official pro debut is in Montreal next friday. How much are you looking forward to that fight and do you know much about your opponent, David Whittom?
H.F - Yes, my fight is next Friday and it's against David Whittom. I don't know anything about him to be honest. I know he's durable and comes forward and he's in shape. He's also had 30 odd pro fights, but that will not be a problem for me. I'm really excited and I can't wait to get in the ring!

J.McK - And finally, you fight on the undercard of Tyson's fight with Steve Cunningham in America next month. How much are you looking forward to fighting at Madison Square Garden? A big stage to fight on! Have an opponent been named yet for you to fight on that night?
H.F - Yes I'm fighting at the MSG! I don't know who my opponent is yet. I'm looking forward to fighting there, yes. There's a lot of history there so I'm honoured to fight there so early in my career! They wanted my pro debut there, but my Dad said I need to get as many fights in as I can which I'm also happy with. I'm hoping for 12 to 15 bouts by the end of 2013!
A massive thanks goes to Hughie for taking time out to answer these questions for me and I wish him all the best as a professional boxer! I would also like to thank Peter Fury for taking time out to also help me.
