further?" I asked myself. The answer is simple - Adrien Broner is a fantastic boxer who has freakish power for his size. The outcome of the fight lies not with Gavin Rees, but with the young pretender to Mayweather's crown. That Ricky Burns is the only man to stand against him at 135lb says it all. Broner is capable of stepping up to light welter without so much as thinking about it.

The next day Rees said that after the fight his father asked him where he wanted to put the gloves he had just used. "Put them?" asked Rees "Bloody burn them, they didn't help me did they!". Gavin Rees is probably looking at the end of his career now and that's a shame. He didn't deserve to be made to look so average when he would have troubled most other lightweights out there. Like I said, I want to dislike Adrien Broner but I can't. He's too good a boxer for that. "The Problem" is going to be a serious problem for some very comfortable boxers for some considerable time.

Bad to the Broner
